Meet Dawn

Dawn, Practice Manager

Dawn grew up in a small farming community, Hardwood, located on beautiful Rice Lake in southeastern Ontario. When she moved here to Englehart, it reminded her very much of the special place where she grew up, thanks to this big-hearted, close-knit community.

Dawn’s heart dogs are Chihuahuas! she grew up with these adorable balls of energy all around her. That love for dogs and all animals led her into the veterinary industry. You may find her interacting with our clients and their pets; that’s her favourite part of the job!

Dawn has 3 chihuahuas, Hippo, Fitzie and Ghost, plus 2 medium adorable lab crosses, Khaleesi and Ava Marie.

I have to say that having chihuahuas is like eating potato chips; you just cannot have just one. – Dawn

When not at work, Dawn loves spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You may also find her taking long walks with her dogs, cutting grass or working in flower and vegetable gardens; it’s so lovely outside!
