We understand that surgery can be a stressful experience for pet owners, which is why our experienced veterinary team is committed to providing compassionate care before, during, and after every procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to anesthesia, we perform a thorough physical examination and may recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork to help assess your pet\u2019s overall health and identify any underlying concerns. This allows us to develop an anesthetic plan tailored to your pet\u2019s individual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Anesthetic Monitoring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout every anesthetic procedure, your pet is continuously monitored by a dedicated team member using advanced monitoring equipment similar to that used in human healthcare. We closely monitor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heart rate and rhythm<\/li>\n\n<li>Blood pressure<\/li>\n\n<li>Oxygen levels<\/li>\n\n<li>Respiratory rate<\/li>\n\n<li>Body temperature<\/li>\n\n<li>Carbon dioxide levels (when appropriate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This allows us to respond immediately to any changes and helps ensure the safest possible anesthetic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recovery &amp; Aftercare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following anesthesia, your pet will recover under close supervision in a warm, comfortable environment. It is normal for pets to be sleepy or quieter than usual for several hours after returning home. Most pets return to their normal behaviour within 24 hours, although recovery times may vary depending on the procedure and individual patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before your pet is discharged, our team will provide detailed home-care instructions, including pain management, activity restrictions, feeding recommendations, and information on what to expect during recovery.
