Since pets can’t communicate how they’re feeling, it’s important to stay on top of their health before symptoms become noticeable. Early detection allows us to take steps to manage or correct a problem before it becomes irreversible.

During a wellness exam, our veterinary team will take your pet’s vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and body weight. Your veterinarian will also ask for a complete history of your pet’s health, including eating habits, exercise, and any unusual behavior. We’ll also perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and intestinal parasite tests. Depending on your pet’s life stage, we may administer vaccines and recommend disease screenings, such as heartworm, kidney, liver, and blood disorder tests.
